Volunteers Needed to Staff Cedar Valley Chase

For this fun opportunity, volunteers man various stations around Waterloo-Cedar Falls during a scavenger hunt/obstacle course race. Stations might include contestants holding a hissing cockroach, getting through an obstacle course, eating contests, push-ups and sit-ups, pirate beer pong, and more. This event, put on by UNI, benefits Cedar Valley United Way and the 2012-13 campaign. All monies raised from contestants goes to help those in need around the Cedar Valley. Participants and volunteers will meet at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center in Cedar Falls on the UNI Campus. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. with the race beginning at noon. The course will take 3 to 4 hours to complete.
