Nominate Faculty at UNI for Recognition!

Once again, thanks to Veridian Community Credit Union, you have the opportunity to recognize 5 Faculty for their Scholarly Community Engagement efforts.

Five - $1,000 awards are available for the nonprofit organization of the faculty member's choice.
FACULTY NOMINATIONS ARE SOUGHT by FEBRUARY 17, 2012!
NOTE: The top 5 faculty nominations will be recognized regardless of the faculty member's home college. In other words, the selection committee is no longer selecting 1 faculty member from each college. This is a great opportunity to recognize and reward faculty for their outstanding community engagement contributions!
Community engagement is defined as the collaboration of the university with the public and private sectors for the mutual benefit of all. This engagement is not simply service or membership, but it is the combination of meeting a community need through teaching and/or scholarship. It includes collaboration with the commercial and nonprofit sectors, special interests or needs, and groups of people affiliated by geographic proximity.

All full-time tenure-track and tenured faculty are eligible for nomination.
