Teen Serve Home Repair Program

During the summer of 2012 the Cedar Valley is going to experience a remarkable transformation that could not take place without your help. From June 24-30, 2012 approximately 400 teens and adults from all over the United States will work on 60 – 70 homes in the Cedar Valley.

TeenServe will provide free home repairs for elderly, disabled and low-income residents who own their own home. If you are having physical or financial problems or are not quite as spry as you used to be and you could use some help completing painting or other home improvement projects; please apply because we want to help.

Types of Projects TeenServe participants CAN do:

• Painting (interior and exterior)
• Drywall repair / installation
• Minor fascia and soffit repairs
• Mobile home underpinning (skirting) repairs and installation
• Limited porch repair
• Exterior step repair or construction
• Wheelchair ramp repairs or construction
