What is a Partner in Volunteerism?

At the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley we believe business initiatives that give back to the communities in which they operate and where their employees live are reinforced by their alignment with an excellent volunteer and philanthropy program. One way to accomplish that is to be part of the VCCV's Partner in Volunteerism Program. Through the program projects are aligned with a company's objectives yet tailored to fit specific markets and community needs.

The Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley serves as the local leadership and resource organization for volunteering. Through the Partners in Volunteerism program the VCCV provides:
  • Up-to-date information on available opportunities in the community weekly to share with the workplace.
  • Opportunity for the VCCV to attend a staff meetings and share information regarding volunteerism.
  • Assistance with arrangements for a volunteer day.
  • A place for your business logo on our website.

In order to participate, your business must provide:
  • A main contact for your business.
  • An easily accessible location for your employees to view available opportunities.

The Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley has 140 member agencies with over 170 volunteer opportunities. To get involved call the VCCV at (319) 272-2087, email information@vccv.org, or visit www.vccv.org
