- The Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging in collaboration with the AARP Foundation needs volunteers to make education outreach calls Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Shifts are flexible. Volunteers ages 55 and over are welcome.
- Northeast Iowa Food Bank is looking for volunteers to inspect and process salvaged products; stock shelves; weigh, record and dispose of bad food products; weigh products going out to an agency; and help sort & box up bakery goods to be sent out to sites. Opportunities exist on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteer must be able to lift 25 pounds. Volunteers ages 18 and over are welcome.
- The CHOICE Program at Exceptional Persons, Inc. needs volunteers to do filing, make copies, answer phones, type up lists, etc. CHOICE is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday with flexible times. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- Big Brothers Big Sisters needs volunteers to answer phones, perform light data entry, and assist with various clerical needs. Opportunities exist Monday through Friday with flexible times between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
