Weekly Volunteer Opportunity Updates

• Iowa’s Bravest Cookie Project will take place on April 27 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the UAW 838 Hall where they will get 25,000+ boxes of cookies ready to send to our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome or younger with an adult.

• Join area volunteers at Crossroads Center Area behind Gold's Gym on Friday, April 29 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. for Earth Day Litter Clean Up. Garbage bags will be provided. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome or younger with an adult.

• The Cedar Valley Volunteer Emergency Club needs volunteers to help provide traffic control for the walkers participating in March of Dimes' March for Babies on Saturday, April 30 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.

• Participate in the Panther Pick-up by interacting with students while they move out of the residence halls. Encourage them to contribute usable items to charitable organizations. Help them get their items loaded into the trucks. Volunteer May 4th: 1 - 4 p.m.; May 5th: 1 - 4 p.m.; May 6th: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
